Materials and Construction
All the reviewed wrenches are drop forge constructed. And this is pretty typical of most wrenches anyways. Cast Iron is another option, but usually found for other types of tools. Drop forged is stronger, so stick with this.

Jaeger Tools and Snap-On have the best steel alloy. Chromium and Vanadium are added for added strength, lightness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Only a little bit of Vanadium needs to be added to steel alloy to make it stronger, tougher, and lighter, so it really is a brain dead add to any steel alloy. So who knows why the other manufactures don’t always add it.

Warranty
Snap-On and Jaeger Tools both have great warranties. But, it’s more likely you will loose it, then need to use the warranty. So I wouldn’t worry about this too much.

Summary
As you can see, it’s just tough to beat Jaeger Tools for the price. They are just as durable as Snap-On, but at a fraction of the cost. Plus, they are on Amazon and are eligible for same day delivery in some areas! And it has FREE same day delivery if your order is over $35. Now that’s tough to beat!

Hope this helps!

Great round up! I’ve used Craftsman all my life, and needed a new set for my house. I was debating between SK and Jaeger, but after seeing your video I want the shiny Jaeger ;P

I borrowed my buddy’s Jaeger a fews back to install some wall fixtures. The ratcheting box end helped me get the job done 10x faster than my current wrench. Since I don’t use my wrenches much, I would save some $$ and just go with Jaeger.
